Amendments to Communities in Motion 2050

Long-range transportation plans are updated every four to five years. However, changes to funded projects, policies, or federal regulations can occur in the interim that need to be addressed before the next scheduled plan update. These require formal amendments to the existing plan.

COMPASS seeks public input on proposed amendments before any action is taken on them. Proposed and approved amendments to Communities in Motion 2050 will be listed below.

Public Comment: Proposed changes to Communities in Motion 2050, July 1– July 31, 2024.

COMPASS seeks public comment on proposed changes to the regional long-range transportation plan, Communities in Motion 2050, as well as transportation projects in the draft regional transportation improvement program (TIP).

The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is also requesting feedback on a statewide version of the regional TIP. ITD and COMPASS will share comments received on projects in Ada and Canyon Counties to ensure all comments submitted are considered by both agencies.
